All Master Birder almuni are welcome to join this team! We will be birding High Island and Bolivar Peninsula. We will begin birding at 6:30 am on Saturday, May 2. We will drive from a hotel in Winnie to High Island, birding Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks, Hook Woods, and various locations on Bolivar Peninsula. Target birds include various migrating warblers, vireos, thrushes, grosbeaks, buntings, sparrows, shorebirds, wading birds, cuckoos, raptors, and other species.

Birdathon is Travis Audubon’s most entertaining way to engage in our mission to protect native birds! Teams of birders compete to see as many birds during one trip as possible. All skill levels are welcome to start a team, join an existing one, or compete as an individual. Anyone can join a team or create their own!
