Greetings, Friends and Family!
Another year has passed, and what an eventful year it was! Most of you already know how well Birdability has been received nationwide! The best news of all came recently in the form of a GIS interactive map whereby anyone can assess the accessibility of a birding site and pin that site to a map for all to see, ALL IN REAL TIME ON A SMART PHONE!
Needless to say, I am thrilled and busy pinning sites in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.
But now back to Birdathon business! Once again I am birding dawn to dusk, in five different accessible Austin area parks, with the hopes of finding 70 bird species. Last year was a banner year with 65 birds. I may have to add another park to get more water birds. We will see. I know I am leaving you on the edge of your seat! This year I'll be birding on Monday, April 27.
Please support Travis Audubon, Birdability, and me in this effort by donating any amount, and thank you, all of you!

Birdathon is Travis Audubon’s most entertaining way to engage in our mission to protect native birds! Teams of birders compete to see as many birds during one trip as possible. All registration fees and team donations benefit Travis Audubon. All skill levels are welcome to start a team, join an existing one, or compete as an individual. Anyone can join a team or create their own!
