Join us for a morning of birding one of the Hill Country’s greatest natural gems! Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve is a 5,500-acre ranch in Blanco County that has been restored to its original habitat. A biodiverse ecosystem in its own right, the ranch boasts 221 bird species. Expect to see Golden-cheeked Warblers, Yellow-throated Vireos, Blue Grosbeaks, and Painted Buntings. Learn more about the ranch at bambergerranch.org.
This team will be led by Christina Farrell, Bamberger Ranch Biologist, and Amy Sugeno, TAS Field Trip Leader.
We will bird on Tuesday, April 19, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Registration for this team is $60, but additional donations are encouraged. For each person that registers, we will donate $10 to the Bamberger Ranch. This team is limited to 12 people.
