Gone Pishing
Gone Pishing Birdathon team is back for another great birding and fundraising opportunity. Shelia Hargis and team will be together (yeah!) on the Upper Texas Coast area over the weekend of April 16. We will be competing in at least two categories: the most species seen within 24 hours and the most money raised. For the first category, we’ll be trying to beat our record of 138 species, so we’ll have to be very strategic and focused for many hours and have the birding gods smile on us with good migration weather. Cross your fingers for us! For the second category, the most money raised, we’ll also be trying to beat our record of over $7000 raised for Travis Audubon. We’re each donating at least $200 and asking friends, family and anyone else we can think of to support our efforts to raise money for the best bird education and conservation organization in the state. We would appreciate your support. Please donate to our team and wish us luck on April 16!
