Chaetura Canyon is a wondrous 11-acre preserve that is home to more than 30 nesting avian species and 170 species of resident and migratory birds. In 2013, Travis Audubon Board members and friends of Chaetura Canyon began the process of building a permanent endowment to be used for the maintenance and operation of Chaetura Canyon for years to come. With a goal of $2 million and over one-quarter of funds already raised, Travis Audubon is proud to invite its most ardent supporters to join its Canyon Champions campaign. Your gift helps us protect this one-of-a-kind habitat and allows you to become a part of its legacy. Each Canyon Champion who contributes to the Fund before January 1, 2026—the start of the 20th anniversary of the Kyles and Travis Audubon’s partnership—will be commemorated on an elegant plaque on the property.
