Birds and conservation matter. Through birding, we can learn about the impact we have on local flora and fauna that give us clues on how to plan for better ecological outcomes. They are ambassadors for our relationship with Earth; all we have to do is listen to what the birds are telling us. I will be birding Galveston and Bolivar Peninsula April 16-17. It's always fun to explore and discover (and rediscover) species unique to those coastal habitats as well as migrating species. What better way to learn, improve my birding skills, and share this passion? I hope you will consider supporting me...and listen to the birds!
