Birdathon: Lake Bastrop South Shore Park
Description
Saturday, May 16, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
$35 per person, max. 15 people
We've got a new Birdathon location for you to explore this year: LCRA Parks' Lake Bastrop South Shore Park.
Lake Bastrop South Shore Park offers much more than great fishing, especially during spring migration through the Central Flyway. Past April visitors have seen American Coots, Pied-billed Grebes, Ospreys, Common Yellowthroats, and Pine Siskins. You’ll be in good hands with our Master Birder Lauren Wojcik and Bexar Audubon's Danny Kelleher leading the way on this two-hour walk.
LCRA Parks is waiving entry fees for all walk attendees—thank you, LCRA Parks, for hosting us! Please direct any questions about this event to lisa@travisaudubon.org.
For the safety of wildlife and the quality of the experience, pets are not permitted on field trips or bird walks. We appreciate your understanding.
