Do you have an affinity for tiny creatures of the night? Join us for an evening of mothing at Blair Woods! We will be joined by Kathy Adams Clark, author of Book of Texas Moths. We will spend the first half of the event talking with Kathy about her new book, and the second half we will spend observing moths at UV lamp stations set up at the preserve.
The option to purchase Kathy's new book is available during registration. Kathy is owner of The Woodlands-based photo agency KAC Productions. Her photographs have appeared in numerous magazines, books, and calendars, including Texas Parks & Wildlife, Texas Highways, Birder’s World, The New York Times, and National Geographic. She is the author of Photographing Big Bend National Park: A Friendly Guide to Great Images.
Registration is required and limited to 30 participants. For more information, contact CJ Williams at cj@travisaudubon.org.
For the safety of wildlife and the quality of the experience, dogs (other than service animals) are not permitted on field trips or bird walks. We appreciate your understanding.
